Welcome
I specialise in creating sculptures in wood. These can take the form of large wall pieces, smaller sculptures (often used as awards or for promotion and advertising) and models.
In 2004 I was commissioned to create the trophies for the WoodAwards, a highly prestigious event which is held every year in the Carpenter's Hall in London. This also involved making a wooden replica of the building that won the Gold Award. The same year I was also commissioned to create miniature sculptures to be used as awards for the Timber Trades Journal's annual presentation.

Since then, I have continued to create awards every year for both the WoodAwards and TTJ. I have for many years enjoyed a close association with the American Hardwood Export Council in London. During this time they have commissioned me to create a wide variety of items, ranging from the Tulipwood Sphere (picture on the left) through to an alien head and a pair of shoes; all made in wood!
Wood has always been the most natural material available to mankind, and from the very earliest times we have used it in all sorts of practical and artistic ways. Today, it is available commercially in a vast array of sizes, colours and textures. It is important to me, however, that any wood I use comes from a sustainably managed source — which is why I tend to work almost exclusively with North American and European timbers.
I hope you will take the time to have a look at the variety of work I have created over the years, and if I can can be of any further help, please don't hesitate to contact me!
